EURO 2016 PREDICTIONS

So far so good. The single bets are piling up the profits! Yesterdays bets were superb! 4/6 correct predictions is a real deal! Today's fixtures from group D and E make our list, but first, Congratulations to England for winning the English Euro derby, Germany and Poland's goalless draw was a surprise but as I have previously said, football happens.

The Group D leaders, Croatia and Spain will be fighting for the top spot, with each looking forward to scoring more goals than the other, while Czech Rep. and Turkey will be looking to securing a point or three in their respective matches. Group E representatives today will be Italy vs Sweden, where, a point or more for any team will cement a top spot, but the advantaged ones are Italy, who already secured three points by beating Belgium.

ITALY vs SWEDEN (GROUP E)

Today's early kick off pitching Italy and Sweden is a much awaited upon match, seeing that people want to know how much Antonio Conte with his not so much qualitied squad, if there is any word like that is. To many, this match will put Conte in a situation where he will be required to prove his tactical knowledge of the game.

All in all, his team, Italy, has won 3/5, loosing once and drawing once. They have collected an imaginary 10/15 points, scoring 7 times and conceding 5 times. I have to stress that the five, 4 from the Germany game and 1 from the Spain draw. On the other hand, Sweden have been average performers, winning 1/5 drawing three times and loosing once. They have accumulated 6/15 points, scoring 6 times and conceding 4 times. A head to head review of the two teams has Italy winning 4/5 meetings and 1 was a draw. On average, Italy have 1.4 goals per match while Sweden have 1.2 goal per match.

Verdict is that, thus far, Italy have proven to be tactically good, and this will be a formality match for them to prove just that, but Sweden will give it a fight.

CZECH REP vs CROATIA (GROUP D)

Croatia are joint group leaders with Spain, and are playing Czech Rep. who were beaten by their counterparts, Spain. Despite loosing their two recent consecutive matches, Czech Rep. had won 2/3 matches and drawn one, collecting an imaginary 7 points, scoring 10 times and conceding 5 times. Lucky for them, 6 goals scored were in one game, playing against Malta. Croatia on the other hand have won 4/5 matches and drawn 1, collecting an imaginary 13/15 points, scoring 15 goals, one game plaid against San Marino producing ten goals. The only head to head review between the two matches shows that Spain won the match 4-2.

Verdict is that Croatia are tipped to win this match, the worst result could be a draw and there will be goals scored, but below three goals.

SPAIN vs TURKEY

Spain's motive is to top the group after all games are played, a mission they can achieve. In their last five matches, they have won 3/5, drawn once and lost once, collecting an imaginary 10/15 points, scoring 10 times and conceding 3 goals. Turkey have won 3/5 times and lost twice, collecting 9/15 points, scoring 5 times and conceding 4 goals. A head to head review sees Spain winning 3/5 matches, and drawing 2/5 previous meetings. It's only in one occasion that their previous meetings produced more than 2.5 goals.

Verdict is that Spain may win this match but Turkey will give them a hard time, seeing that they have a very mean defense.
