Today, we have a group B early kick off pitching England vs Wales, the United Kingdom rivals and Group C's Ukraine vs N.Ireland and Germany vs Poland. As usual, lets analyze the three EURO 2016 matches for today.
ENGLAND vs WALES (GROUP B)
Group B leaders, Wales are today playing their bitter rivals, England who are in pursuit of the group's leadership by winning the International derby. A win will have them secure 4 points, which will be a point more than Wales'.
In their last five matches, England have won three, drawn one and lost one, accumulating 10/15 points. They have scored 7 goals and conceded 5 goals in all. On the other hand, Wales have only won once, loosing thrice and drawing once, collecting 4/15 points, scoring 5 goals and conceding 9 goals. A head to head review has England winning 4/5 meetings and one was a draw. One clear thing that has been is a frequent below 2.5 goals, but according to the statistics, it is clear that England are averaging almost 1.4 goals per match and Wales just 1.0 goals per match.
Verdict is that England might win this game, but Wales, having beaten a good Slovakia side, might fight for a draw or even surprise England with a win. One clear thing though is that the match will produce at least three goals.

UKRAINE vs N.IRELAND (GROUP C)
These two teams lost their first Euro 2016 matches and have no points to boast of. They are all looking to win and maximize their chances of going past the group stages, so one must win.
Ukraine, despite loosing to Germany, displayed a good game and had been performing well prior to the loss. They have won 4/5 games collecting 12/15 points and lost one. They have scored 9 goals and conceded 6 goals. On the other hand, N.Ireland have won 2, drawn 2 and lost once, collecting 8/15 points, scoring 5 goals and conceding 2 goals. A head to head review has Ukraine winning 2/4 and the other two have been draws. It's only in 1/4 of the head to head matches that there were more than 2.5 goals, the rest were below 2.5.
Verdict is that considering their form, Ukraine look better on paper and might go for a win straight up, BUT N.Ireland on the other hand are not generous in giving away goals, having conceded 2 goals in five matches. Averaging 1.8 goals per match are Ukraine while N.Ireland average 1.0 goals. This will be a tough match.

GERMANY vs POLAND (GROUP C)
Arguably today's big game, with the two teams having secured three points each, and all having players who can make an impact in any match.
Germany have won 3/5 matches, securing 9/15 points, scoring 11 goals and conceding 7 goals. They have lost 2/5 matches played. Poland on the other hand have won, 3 times, drawn once and lost once, collecting 10/15 points, scoring 8 goals and conceding 2 goals only. A head to head review has Germany winning 2/5, Poland 1/5 and 2 draws. In 2/5 head to head matches, there was an over 2.5 goals and the rest(3/5) below.
Verdict is that this match will be tough, will have goals even though Poland have a mean defense and Germany will be going for nothing else but a win. Poland, might force a draw by frustrating the Germans in their back line.
