THE SECRET BEHIND THE MORATA TRANSFER

Image result for morata chelsea photoI am an avid Chelsea football club fan and I have been following the transfer dealings attentively. As most people may be aware, Chelsea FC and Manchester United had been chasing the same forward targets for a while. At one point, Morata was close to being bought by the United club and so was Lukaku by Chelsea. After negotiations and interventions by the player agents, the two clubs have ended up landing their second options in accordance to their wishful transfer lists. Considering that Manchester United were willing to cough out more than what Chelsea have agreed in order to land Morata, who the Blues have managed to sign at a lower price, it can be argued that something is really cooking in the football kitchen. Who is cooking it? Real Madrid of course! Why?

The Madrid club has power financially and politically, football wisely because they plan ahead and do it in such a way that no one can be able to notice. In fact, their victims are their beneficiaries at an earlier point, using them as bait to achieve their dreams. The victim in the Morata dealing is Chelsea, who have been given an asset to utilize, which in Real Madrid's view is a litmus test. Real Madrid know that Morata is a good finisher but not yet polished, so they wouldn't have preferred Mourinho as the polisher because they have already used him, and probably do not envision having him at the club as manager again. So they opted for Chelsea as Morata's destination, who have Conte, the high and rising manager in the list of the best in the world. It is thus arguable that Madrid want to see how Conte will perform in his second season at Chelsea, having won the premier league in his first as well as how good he will develop Morata. This means that they already have him top in the list of the managers who may replace Zenedine Zidane in case he happens to loose his job.

Notably, Zenedine Zidane had already been reserved for the job when Carlo was manager at Real Madrid. So, Chelsea fans may be of the idea that the club's negotiators are the best in their job, but that is far from the truth because the winner is the sleeping giant, Real Madrid, who have Conte, the current Blue's manager in mind.
