FRANCE VS ICELAND

EURO 2016

Due to technical difficulties, this edition could not have come earlier. Apologies.

Yesterdays game between Germany and Italy was entertaining and difficult to win. It made sense being decided by penalties. Unluckily, the Italians went home after a worthy fight. A laud of applause to them because they staged a performance that did not match their image. People had said that it was the weakest Italian team to ever be in a competition, but to their surprise, they proved to be a force to reckon with, having beaten Belgium, Spain and gave the world champions, Germans, the star studded side a very difficult time for 120 minutes. Now Antonio Conte heads to the English Premiere League. The Italians will live to always miss you Conte and good luck to you in your new Stamford Bridge role.

Today's match pitches France and Iceland.

Confirmed semi finalists

FRANCE vs ICELAND

The hosts are in a good form, but in their matches, they have somehow struggled. They have not shown the world what a winning side can be like. Their opponents, have surprised the world by qualifying for the semi finals. No one expected them to be in the competition so far. But they are here! How will they fair vs the hosts? Here comes the analysis.

France, have won 4/5 and drawn 1/5, collecting a massive 13/15 points, scoring 9 times and conceding 2 goals. They average 1.8 goals (scoring) per match and 0.4 goals (conceding) per match.

Iceland on the other hand have won 3/5 and drawn 2/5 collecting 11/15 points, scoring 10 times and conceding 4 goals. They average 2 goals (scoring) per match and 0.8 goals (conceding) per match.

In their last five meetings France have won 4/5 times and they have drawn 1/5 times. 4/5 matches ended up producing more than 2.5 goals and 1/5 less than 2.5 goals. One clear thing though is that in all 5/5 matches, they scored against each other.

Prediction is France win or draw
Prediction is BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE (YES)
Prediction is OVER 2.5
